Tara L. Higgins

Tara L. Higgins, loving daughter and mother, passed away unexpectedly at age 44 on November 13, 2018.

Tara was born on May 4, 1974 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to David C. Higgins and Norma A. Higgins. Tara attended Lawrence, N. Andover, and Methuen public schools. Tara loved spending time with her family, especially her two sons. Tara was known for her bright, warm smile and big hugs offered to anyone in need.  She loved joking around and making other people laugh.  She will be fondly remembered in the hearts of many friends and family for the love she brought to their lives.

Tara was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Anne Higgins and Yvette Ghedoni; and grandfather, Harold Higgins. She is survived by her sons, Jonathan Higgins and Derek Bollotta; sister, Jennifer Nolin and husband, Derek; Parents, Norma A. Higgins and partner Steve Mulligan; David C. and Marilyn Higgins ; grandparents, Norman and Regina Quinn; nieces, Ashleigh, Juliana, Alexandra, and Kyleigh; and nephews, Sean and Joshua; Great-nieces Evangeline and Keira. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her greatly loved cats, Sam and Dean.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the celebration of life service on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Calvary Baptist Church, 586 Massachusetts Ave, North Andover, Massachusetts, 01845
