Sadie R. (Abdo) Souma

Sadie R. (Abdo) Souma of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Sadie worked for many years at Kennedy’s Cleaners in Lawrence then retired from Agfa in Wilmington, MA. Sadie’s greatest passion was taking care of her family as well as her special friends who she treated as family. She was a member of St. Anthony Church and also a member of St. Anthony Sodality. She was also an avid bowler and earned several trophies to her credit. Sadie was a warm and loving woman who will be missed by all who knew her.

Sadie’s family members include her son Alfred M. Souma and his partner Deb Casey; her daughter Charlene Perron and her husband Norm; her grandchildren: Lynmarie Souma, Elisa Vick, and Mekenzie Powell; several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Anthony Church, 145 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA 01841. A Memorial Mass will follow the visitation at 10:30 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
