Rita Fortier Obituary

Rita E. Fortier, 96 passed away on Thursday August 29, 2019 at Academy Manor, Andover. Mrs. Fortier was born, raised and educated in Methuen and was a longtime resident of South Lawrence. Before retirement Rita worked as a stitcher at the Wood Mills of Lawrence. She was an avid crocheter and knitter.

The widow of Maurice E. Fortier, her family members include her son Roger H. Fortier and his wife Brenda Fortier of Goffstown, NH. She also leaves several grandchildren and she was predeceased by her daughter Marie and son Frank.
