Richard D. McRobbie

Richard D. McRobbie, 77 a longtime resident of Methuen passed away on Thursday March 22, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill.  Mr. McRobbie was born in Lawrence and was raised and educated in Methuen.  Before retirement, he worked as a supervisor in maintenance at Parkside Apartments, Lawrence.  Richard enjoyed fishing but he especially, loved spending time and doing things with his grandchildren.

The widower of Marie (Grondin) McRobbie, his family members include his daughter, Kerry McRobbie of Lawrence and his sisters, Mary Guilmette of Methuen, Kathryn and her husband, James Blanchard of Methuen and Monica Charest of Derry, NH.  He also leaves his brothers, Charles McRobbie of Methuen and Michael McRobbie and his wife Cheryl of Sanbornton, NH.  Richard also leaves his grandson, Joshua McRobbie of Lawrence and his sister-in-law, Joyce McRobbie of Derry, NH as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, John Toomey and Robert McRobbie.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday April 3, 2018 from 4pm to 6pm at The Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
