Mirle E. Buchan passed away at home on November 7, 2017 at the age of 88.

He was born on August 24, 1929 to William and Ethel (Borneman) Buchan in Andover, Massachusetts. Mirle attended Punchard High School in Andover and graduated from Essex Agricultural School in Danvers, where he met the love of his life. He married Norma A. Marsland in August 1948 and they had two children, Gary and Susan, whom they loved very much.

Mirle lived most of his life in Andover. He escaped the cold for a few years in Ocala, Florida before moving to Salem, NH, knowing New England was his true home. He was a hard worker and retired from American Finish & Chemical Company.

He is survived by his son, Gary M. Buchan and Donna Demers of Salem, NH and his daughter, Susan M. Watson and Charles Chouinard of Methuen, MA, along with his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, and all those who loved him. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Norma.

Mirle will be missed, but never forgotten.
