Maureen Helen Cuscuna passed away peacefully in the company of her family on Monday, January 9, 2017. 

She was born to the late Anthony Richard Cuscuna and the late Helen Ann (Clooney) Cuscuna of Malden on January 19, 1944. 

Mother of Amy (Fitzpatrick) Iannotti and her husband Paul of Gainesville, Florida, Laurie (Fitzpatrick) (Morgan) Dennee of Syracuse, New York, and Brian Fitzpatrick and his fiancé Rhonda of Orlando, Florida.  Sister to the late David Cuscuna and his wife Eileen of Malden, Jeffrey Cuscuna and his wife Denise of Methuen and Lisa Cuscuna of Malden.  Grandmother to Alyssa (Iannotti) Kimball and her husband Lafayette, Nicholas Iannotti, Benjamin Iannotti, the late Garrett Morgan, Faith Morgan, Charlotte Morgan, Bridgett Dennee, Christopher Dennee, and Brian Fitzpatrick, Jr. and his wife Trisha.  Also survived by her beloved four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Maureen was a graduate of Malden High School, a long-time resident of Lowell where she raised her children, and most-recently resided in Syracuse, NY.  She had a great love for her family and enjoyed knitting and crocheting for them.  She was a great counselor and advocate for the mental health community and a mentor to many.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home in Methuen, MA.
