Mary M. (Kaupinis) Tomaski, 103, of Pelham, NH, formerly of Methuen, passed away at the Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Methuen on Friday, August 23, 2019.
The daughter of the late Charles and Monica (Kalenta) Kaupinis, Mary was born in Lawrence on April 4, 1916. She was a graduate of Searles High School in Methuen and the McIntosh School of Business in Lawrence. Mary was a secretary for the Federal Government in Boston, New Jersey, and Washington, DC. Later, she was employed at Sear, Roebuck & Co., Bolta Rubber, and Howland’s Department Stores. She resided in Methuen most of her life until moving to Pelham, NH in 2003. She belonged to the Pelham Senior Center. Mary enjoyed sewing, crocheting, Bingo and doing word puzzles.
Mary was the wife of the late Stephen J. Tomaski, who died in 2003, and is survived by a daughter, Linda A. (Tomaski) Berry of Pelham, NH; A niece, Joan and her husband Ted Rademacher of Methuen; Nephews, John Stackelin and his wife Judy of Haverhill, and William Kaupinis of Methuen; And several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her siblings, Monica Stackelin, Anna Mikula, and William Kaupinis.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
