It is with saddest regret that Leon D. Gingras, Jr. passed away on October 1, 2017 at his home in Somerville, MA.  Leon was born and raised in Somerville. He has lived in Somerville all his life where he  married his wife and raised five children.  Leon loved radio engineering and photography.  He attended church regularly and was greatly loved and treasured by his family and friends and will be missed dearly.  Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey.  [♥] ️

Leon was predeceased by his wife and friend, Marion J. (Cavanaugh) Gingras. His family members include his son, Paul Gingras of Michigan, his daughter, Mary Pickett and her husband, Charles of Salem, NH, his son, Robert Gingras and his wife, Heidi of Naples, Maine, his son, Christopher Gingras of Somerville, MA and his son, David Gingras of Somerville, MA. He also leaves his sister, Glenna Hawthorne of Woburn, MA. and his four grandchildren who he loved with all his heart. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Gingras.  

Services will be private.
