Keith Schratwieser, 55, of Salem N.H. formerly of Methuen died Saturday, April 14, 2018 on his fifty-fifth birthday surrounded by his family.
Keith was born on April 14,1963 in Margaretville, New York to the late Theodore and Dorothy Comier Schratwieser.
He was a graduate of Methuen High School. He worked several years for a local asbestos Co. then becoming self employed the owner operator of a fence/mason co. for many years prior to being diagnosed with lung cancer.
Keith is survived by his wife Donna (Vartanian) Schratwieser of Salem N.H, his son David Cooper of Lawrence and his two daughters, Stephanie Schratwieser and her husband Jose Perello-Castillo of Lawrence and Shaylane Cooper and her husband Adam Stickland of Camilla Georgia. Also among his survivors are his sisters, Debra Desrocherers and her husband Gary of Methuen, Dina Redmond and her husband Scott of Salem N,H, and Christine MacLean and her husband James of Methuen, Keith is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and one great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Theadore and his sister Geraldine.
Keith was very talented in art, singing and a musician.
His family was his world, he also helped mentor many lives he was known as big Papa he was a very loving and generous man he was loved by so many.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 20 at 11 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
