Joseph E. Lee

Joseph E. Lee, 92, of Pelham, NH passed away on Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at his home.

Joseph was born in Lawrence on July 30, 1925 to the late Joseph and Edith (Ingle) Lee. He was raised and educated in Methuen and had lived in Methuen all of his life before moving to Pelham, NH eight years ago. For many years, Joe worked in the heating & air conditioning industry. He worked with Dalrymple Oil Co. and more recently with Skaff Refrigeration Co.

He was an avid snow and water skier, and after retirement he enjoyed building three masted model ships. He and his wife, Ruth, were very dedicated to their family and never missed an activity or sports game.

Joseph was the widower of Ruth E. (Thwaites) Lee. He is survived by his two daughters Joann E. Finnegan of Pelham, and Heidi and her husband Michael Gervino of Salem, NH, his two grandsons Jared and his wife Agnieshka, and Bryce and his wife Amanda, his four great-grandchildren Cadence, Riley, Evy, and River, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, MA 01843, or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 24th, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079.
