John "Jack" Medeiros

John "Jack" Medeiros, age 70, of Lawrence, MA passed away peacefully at Merrimack Valley High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on September 26th.

Born January 28th, 1949 in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late MaryAnn (Spizzirri) Perez. Before retiring, Jack worked as a horseman at various thoroughbred racetracks. After retiring, Jack worked at his daughter Lisa's pet grooming salon. Jack enjoyed kayaking, fishing, running, cycling, cannabis and working around in his yard.

Jack was predeceased by his sisters, Cheryl Medeiros and Tonya Perez. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Howard Medeiros, his daughter, Lisa Medeiros and Adam Saab, his sister, Deborah Medeiros Jones & brother-in-law Bill of Illinois, brother Joseph Fiyod and Tammy Martin, his sister MaryAnn Perez of Rhode Island, and his sister Maria Perez of Florida. He is also survived by his Aunt Norma Guarniero of Rhode Island, Uncle Richard Spizzirri of Massachusetts, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides being missed by his family and friends, he will also be missed by his pets, Sprout, Lulu, Lana, Jake and his granddog, Alli.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA, 01844. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel following calling hours at 1:00 pm, and burial will follow at West Parish Cemetery in Andover, MA.
