Joan D. Jones

Joan D. Jones, 78, of Methuen, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Willow Manor in Lowell, MA.

Joan was born and raised in Petersburg, VA.
She has lived in the Greater Lawrence area for over 50 years. Before retirement, she worked as an inspector at Raytheon Co., Andover.
Joan was a member of the Third Baptist Church in Lawrence. She enjoyed sewing and computer games.

Joan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she especially loved being with her children and grandchildren.

Her family members include her husband Ralph S. Jones of Methuen; her sons, Jason R. Marshall and his wife Kim of Methuen and Tony L. Jones; her nephew Victor A. Jones and his wife Mary of Charlottesville, VA; her sister Barbara Montgomery of Petersburg, VA; her two granddaughters, Jayda and Kristen; her four grandsons, Kai, Pierre, Terrell and Rasheen; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 12 PM Noon to 2 PM, at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A funeral service will directly follow the calling hours at 2 PM at the funeral home.
