Irene V. (Pelletier) Croteau, 93 died the way she lived quietly and full of love for her family on Sunday, April 23. 2017. Irene cherished moments and made loving memories. She greeted everyone with a hug and sincerely listened. She sent cards and wrote notes with her signature X’s and O’s. She will be dearly missed by family and friends who were blessed by her charm and caring ways. She was the beloved wife of Hervy W. Croteau for sixty-five years. She raised her daughters and was office manager for Hervy W. Croteau Construction Company in Andover for over 30 years before they moved to Maine. Irene and her husband built the original Paulornette Circle in Andover. They named it after their daughters. (PAUline-LORraine-jeanNETTE).  They moved to New Hampshire twenty years ago to be closer to their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters; Pauline and her husband, Tim White, Lorraine and her husband, Peter Mullett and Jeannette and her husband, Alex DiDomenico. She also leaves her sister, Rita Fluet. Her sister-in-law, Mary Pelletier. Seven grandchildren; Dawn and her husband, John McCarthy, Jeff and his wife, Erin DiDomenico, Nate and his wife, Laurie Mullett, Lenore and her husband, Brian Edwards, Amy and her husband, Eddy Crespo, Tim and his wife, Leah White and Matt DiDomenico as well as twelve great-grandchildren; Jack, Ethan, Colleen, Maddison, Isabella, Mason, Aiden, McKinley, River, Delaney, Eliana Irene and Timothy Joseph and many nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Hervy Croteau, her parents, Maxime and Adelia (Soucy) Pelletier and her brothers, Wilfred Pelletier and Herve Pelletier and her brother-in-law, Ernest Fluet. 

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Saturday April 29, 2017 from 9am to 11 am at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
