Helen J. (Doucette) Teuber peacefully passed from this world early Saturday morning, 9/27/19 after a short stay at High Point House, Haverhill, MA. There’s no doubt that she’s “somewhere over the rainbow” crossing that “moon river, wider than a mile.” Of course, “in style”.
Her passions were food, Turner Classic Movies and music. She prayed daily to her patron, Saint Jude. She believed in miracles and that nothing was impossible as long as she did her best to be grateful for what she had and turn to her faith when life seemed overwhelming.
She grew up during The Great Depression in Lowell, MA. Then, Lawrence became her home when she married William R. Teuber, the man whose blue eyes stole her heart. Helen was a longtime employee of the Lawrence School System, were she worked as a Teacher’s Aide. She loved her work with the children and her esteemed co-workers, Francis, Eleanor, Maureen and Janice.
She will be tenderly remembered by her children, Janice Lesieur and her husband, Ron, Joanne Ohlendorf and her husband, Mark, Bill Teuber, his wife Robin and their children, Dustin, Eric and Alex. Helen will also certainly missed by the many recipients of her unlimited spirit of generosity and thoughtfulness.
As per Helen’s request, there are no formal services scheduled. Her preference is that anyone who wishes to pay their respects and celebrate her life, could do so by making a contribution to one of her favorite charities, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Merrimack Valley Hospice, High Point House.
