Doris M. Theberge, 84 of Andover passed away on Friday June 23, 2017 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.  Mrs. Theberge was born in Lawrence and was raised and educated in Lawrence and Andover.  She has lived in Andover for most of her life. A devout Catholic, Doris was a member of the former Sacred Heart Parish of Lawrence and is presently a member of St. Patrick Parish, Lawrence.  Before retirement, she worked at Western Electric, North Andover.  Doris was the rock of her family. She held her family together.  She babysat for every one of her grandchildren and never said no.

The widow of Roland Theberge, her family members include her son, Ronald Theberge and her daughters, Doreen Wermers, Sharon Poole, Joanne Bailey, Dorothy and her husband, Ronald Roy with whom she resided, Debra Smith and Sandra Perry.  Doris also leaves her sisters, Delia Blake and Rita Urquiza, 23 grandchildren and many greatgrandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Doris was predeceased by her sons, Tommy Theberge, Chucky Theberge , Sonny Theberge  and  her grandson, Christopher Perry.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.  A Funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 30 at 9:00 am in St. Patrick Church, Lawrence.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover.
