Dottie was a strong, selfless, and generous woman, and her presence lit up any room she entered. She loved to let people around her know how much she cared for them. Her family and her role as a mother and grandmother was the most important thing to Mom. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy. Being with her family was what Dottie enjoyed most of all. Dottie believed in giving people a chance, a second chance, and sometimes a third. She was truly a champion for the underdog. Dottie was always there for people who needed help the most.
Although there will forever be an empty space in many hearts with her name on it, it makes us smile knowing that Mom and Dad are together again.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martial (Marty) Michaud. She is survived by her loving daughters, Marcia Michaud and Nancy Fay, son Marc Michaud and his wife Kim, grandsons Ryan, Eric, and Kevin Fay; granddaughters Tiffany Michaud and Lauren Morton, and several great grandchildren, sisters Jeannine Pare and Lorraine Quinn, and the late Claire Jacobs and Theresa Habib, as well as many extended family and friends.
