Doris Makin Bourdelais

Doris (Makin) Bourdelais, 84 of Methuen passed away on Friday January 11, 2019 at the Nevins Nursing Center, Methuen.  Doris was born and raised in Lawrence and was a 1954 graduate of Lawrence High School.  Before retirement, she worked for 37 years as a waitress at Bishop’s Restaurant and as a hostess at TGI Fridays, Methuen.

Her family members include her daughter, Cindy Bourdelais and her granddaughter and caregiver Courtney Medugno.  Doris also leaves her great grandson, Shane Griffiths and her siblings, Eleanor Seddon of Raytown, MO, Joyce Nevins of Merrimac, MA, Herbert Makin of Windham, NH, Harold “Hap” Makin of Atkinson, NH, Gerald “Jerry” Makin of Methuen and David Makin of Manchester, NH.  as well as many nieces and nephews.  Doris was predeceased by her oldest son, Robert “Bobby” Bourdelais and her sister, Alice Boschetto.
