Donna A. (Porfido) Ellenwood

Donna A. (Porfido) Ellenwood 69, of Methuen died Sunday January 21, 2018 at Lawrence General Hospital.

Donna was born in Lawrence on May 27, 1948 to the late Samuel and Yona (Risner) Porfido.

She attended local schools and worked in the medical profession until her early retirement.  She treasured spending time with her great grandchildren, Brooke, Lily and Kylee.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel L. Ellenwood of Methuen, her daughter Shauna Moorhouse and her husband Jack of Salem, NH.  Her 2 sons, James Kater and his wife Cathy of Methuen and Michael Kater and his wife Maria of Allenstown, NH.  Also among her survivors are her three grandchildren, Michael Kater Jr. and his wife Ashley, Ashley Emery and her husband Matthew and Randy Kater as well as her three great grandchildren and a sister, Debra Porfido.

Family and friends may call from 4-8 January 25th at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home 80 Broadway, Methuen.  A funeral service will be offered at 5pm.
