Barbara Laura Clark, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 13, 2018 at Seal Rock Rehabilitation Center in Saco, Maine.
She was born December 31, 1925 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to John and Laura Clark. The youngest of 12 children, Barbara attended school in the Lawrence Public School system. She was proud of her work at the Salvation Army in Lawrence, where she served as office manager and Young People’s Sergeant Major for over 40 years. She took great joy playing alto horn in the Salvation Army band along with her sister, daughter, and grandchildren. In fact, she took great joy in any activity that included her family and those she loved as family. They were her world and she was an irreplaceable part of theirs.
Barbara is predeceased by her 11 brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Clark and 3 grandchildren, Aaron Clark, Karen Rafferty and Seth Clark.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 19th, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 20th at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, and burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
