Maureen “Moe” A. Travers, age 74 of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully at her home on March 14, 2024 with her son Keith by her side. She was born on July 15, 1949 in Methuen, MA, the daughter of Louis and Muriel (Trudeau) Dupuis.

She was raised and educated in Methuen, MA and graduated from Tenney High School, Class of 1967.

Maureen worked in the Insurance Policy Distribution Department at Andover Companies for over 30 years.

Moe enjoyed spending time playing KENO and going out to eat. She loved to go shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son Keith Travers of Manchester, NH, her three sisters: Edie Crabtree and husband Glenn of Loudon, NH, Lois Gould, and husband Paul of Daffeny, SC and Cathy Gerskowitz of Plaistow, NH and her brother, Peter Maynard, and wife Gina.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence P. Travers in 2013. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Edward Dupuis, and Raymond Maynard.

Calling hours are Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 4 – 6:30 PM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA will take place at a later date.
