Arlene M. Powell, 78, of Salem, New Hampshire died on Thursday June 7, 2012 at The Nevins Nursing Centre, Methuen.  Arlene was born  in Methuen and was a graduate of Edward F. Searles  High School.  She worked at The Arlington Mills, Lawrence and before retirement, she worked at The IRS, Andover.  Arlene was active with Cub Scout Pack, # 160, Salem, NH.
  Her family members include her husband, Albert  F. Powell, Jr. of Salem, NH and her daughter, Jean A. and her husband, Stephen  Najuck of Salem, NH and her son, David A. Powell of Lexington, Kentucky.  She leaves her grandchildren, Stephen, Melissa, Stacey and Leah and 2 nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her sons, Robert A. Powell and Keith A. Powell.
  There are no calling hours. Private services will be held. Arlene’s  family would like to thank her friends and staff at The Nevins Centre for their kind, compassionate care. Memorial contributions may be made to The Nevins  Nursing Centre, Activities Fund, 10 Ingalls Ct., Methuen, MA 01844 or to  The Alzheimers Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA. 02472.  Arrangements are by The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.

Dear Al ,I am so sorry for your loss.Arlene may have past but you will always have your memories of your Love for her in your heart forever.Luis and I will miss you both. Arlene and you will stay in our thoughts and prayers..
