Dear Alec, Andrew, George and members of the Sluz family,
I am so sorry for your loss. When I think of your mother (Zenia or Babcia) the first words that come to my mind are; strong and brave. What a life she had. Yes, there were hardship that most people couldn't handle or even imagine, but she survived and prospered. How brave to start a new life in a new country. Learn a new language. Become an American citizen. Raise successful children. See grandchildren grow. Become a great grandmother. I know she was proud of all of you. When I remember of your mother, my Ciacia, I will remember going to her house almost daily for a visit with my mother. There was always something cooking and it seemed like the news was always on the tv. Ciacia would watch my before school while my mom went to work. I always felt safe in her home, like it was my second home growing up. I will remember her fondly. I pray her soul will rest in peace and that she is having tea with my mother and talking for hours just like the old days. All my love, Liza
