William J. Donahue, Jr.

William J. Donahue, Jr., 70 of Lawrence passed away on Sunday January 21, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill.  Mr. Donahue was born, raised and educated in Lawrence and has lived in Lawrence all of his life.  Before retirement, Bill worked at Lawrence Maid Footwear and Malden Mills.  He was a long time member of The Arlington Social Club and the Knights of Columbus of Lawrence.  Bill was very dedicated to his family and after retirement, he spent his time spoiling his grandchildren.

His family members include his wife, Claudette A. Donahue of Lawrence and his daughters, Jenifer A. Donahue and Donna M. Donahue-Odom both of Lawrence.  He also leaves his loving grandchildren, Courtney and Marc Quave, his 2 sisters, Elizabeth Kinzel and Barbara and her husband, Floyd Miller both of Georgia and his extended family, David Doyle, Jason Quave and Lloyd Barton as well as several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday January 28, 2018 from 3pm to 7pm at the Dewhirst-Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.  Funeral services will be on Monday January 29th at 10:00am at the funeral home.  Burial with military honors will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
