Theresa J. (Bolduc) Morissette

December 3, 1966 ~ June 21, 2015 (age 48) 48 Years Old

Theresa June (Bolduc) Morissette passed away Sunday, June 21st after 48 years of sharing her selfless soul and passionate love with her family, friends, and everyone who had the opportunity to be touched by her radiant light.

Theresa – Trese, Tre, T – is survived by the love of her life and husband of 26 years, Glenn Morissette. A compassionate and devoted mother, she will continue watching over her four children: Julie, Erin, Katherine, and Brian. She is the beloved daughter of Douglas Bolduc Sr. and the late Elizabeth (Clement) Bolduc, and of her mother-in-law, Elaine (Dearden) Morissette and her late father-in-law Rene Morissette. Theresa remains cherished by her six brothers and her sister along with their families: From Methuen, her sister Mary Ann (Bolduc) Boucher and her husband David; Brothers Paul and his wife Christine, Michael and his wife Jackie, and Andrew and his wife Ann Marie. Her brother from Woburn, Douglas; Her brother from Whitinsville, Matthew and his wife Sharon, and her brother from Salem, N.H., Martin and his wife Christine. She is equally treasured by her brother-in-law from Andover, Garry and his wife Sarah, as well as her sister-in-law Donna and her husband John from Bradford, VT. Theresa is the endeared aunt of 31 nieces and nephews along with their collective 13 children.

Theresa graduated Methuen High School in 1984 and Merrimack College in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and with her high-school sweetheart, Glenn, firmly by her side. Eleven years after the fateful Snow White play in fifth grade, the prince proposed to his beautiful princess. They married October 16, 1988. Theresa worked as an HR Benefits Administrator initially at Addison-Wesley and then at Watson-Wyatt Worldwide. Following the third addition to her own family, Theresa’s role transitioned into her most successful employment, full-time mother. She was a shining presence in the community as an active member and wedding organizer at St. Francis Parish, ready volunteer at the Dracut Public Schools, impactful leader in the Cursillo movement at St. Basil’s Salvatorian Center where she touched the hearts of women spanning the country, and an extremely enthusiastic supporter on the sidelines of all of her children’s sporting events.

Theresa beat cancer – she did not allow the disease to define her days, her decisions, or herself. The family would like to thank all friends and relatives whose prayers – not for a cure, but for a full life bursting with eternal love – were graciously answered. She loved spending time and laughing with her Dracut friends, her Methuen High School friends, and her Hope and Friendship support group. A special thanks is extended to the tireless work of her team at Dana-Farber and the healing presence of the medical staff at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Friends and loved ones are invited to call on Thursday, June 25, 2015, from 4 to 8 pm at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 26, at 11:30 am at St. Francis Church in Dracut, 115 Wheeler Rd., Dracut, MA. Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
