Staff Sgt, Edward M. Nutter, 81, of Lawrence passed away on Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Lawrence General Hospital.  Mr. Nutter was born, raised and educated in Ocean City, NJ.  He served with The US Army for 28 years including two tours of duty in Vietnam.  He retired in 1974.  After retirement from the armed forces, he returned to live in Lawrence.  His greatest joy was being with his  family . He loved family get togethers and the holidays and especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren. 

His family members include, the love of his life, his wife, Sandra R. (Perry) Nutter of Lawrence and his sons, Rodney D. and his wife, Lori Nutter of Bradford, MA, Tyrone G. Nutter of Bradford, Edward P. and his wife, Michelle Nutter of Haverhill, Anthony D. Nutter and his love, Millie and Terence J. Nutter all of Lawrence.  He also leaves his brother, Lemuel Nutter  and  his sister, Anna Turner both of Philadelphia, PA.  Edward has 9 grandchildren, Christine, Ciara, Janelle, Zachary, Sarina, Stefan, Timothy, Moriah and Sydney and 1 great grandson, Jeremy as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday July 11, 2016 from 10am to Noon at The Charles F.
