Sandra Gaumond, 74 of Methuen passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen after a long illness. Sandra was born and educated in Princeton Maine. She was an avid card and bingo player. Sandra loved being around her family and close friends along with the 2 loves of her life, her dogs, Lady and Karmella. Sandra worked as an electrical mechanical assembler for many years before her retirement. She was a longtime member of The American Legion Auxillary, Post 122, Methuen. Sandra was the daughter of the late Effie Mae (Moholland) Allen and Joseph D. Wheeler. She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister, Sonny Wheeler, Fred Allen, Norman Allen and Sylvia Lebel. Her family members include her sisters and their husbands, Donna and John Blattenburger of Methuen and Donalda and Ralph Allen of Alexander, Maine. She also leaves her 5 daughters and 1 son, Sheryl Jimenez of Methuen, Lisa Privitera of Methuen, Hazel and her husband, Frank Keyes of Methuen, Shauna Privitera of Merrimac, Sarah Wheeler Laperriere of Hampstead, NH and Carl Downey of Methuen as well as her 6 grandchildren, Moses, Kamryn, Lucas, Logan, Brayden, and Lyncoln and her 2 great grandchildren, Jaxon and Jordyn. Sandra also leaves her sister in law, Patricia Wheeler and several nieces and nephews and numerous close friends.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday August 15, 2017 from 4pm to 6pm at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
