Robert Michael Green

Robert Michael Green of Methuen passed away on April 4, 2018.

Mr. Green was born in Lawrence to the late Richard and Antanina Green.  He attended Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.  Later he was employed by the Crown Cork and Seal Company.  After retirement, Bob enjoyed working part time as an accountant. 

Outside of work, Bob was a talented poet.  He had several pieces published and one was accepted by The Library of Congress. 

Bob and his wife Grace enjoyed traveling to many places and spending summers in Maine.  Fashioning driftwood lamps was another of Bob’s interests. 

Bob will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Grace Marie (Tombarelli) Green.  He also leaves his sister-in-law, Maryanne Coppola of Haverhill.  Other family members include his brothers, William and his wife, Helena of Salem, NH, Richard and his wife, Irene of Haverhill and Thomas of Pennsylvania.  He also leaves his aunt, Vera Richardson of Ohio as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Services will be private. Burial will be in St Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are by The Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
