Raymond N. Goudreau, 88, a longtime resident of Lawrence passed away on Tuesday June 7, 2016 at Kirkwood Corners, Lee, NH.  Mr.Goudreau was born, raised and educated in Lawrence and lived in Lawrence for most of his life.  He worked for over 30 years as a layout operator at Western Electric Company and later as a machinist at Dyonics of Andover for 12 years.  Ray served with The US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the former Sacred Heart Parish of Lawrence.  He loved music, enjoyed collecting records and going to concerts.

The widower of Marilyn (Hennessey) Goudreau and the son of the late, Michael and Olympe (Dubois) Goudreau, Ray’s family members include his daughters, Laura M. Smith of Methuen and Christine L. and her husband, Daniel Murphy of Lee, NH.  He leaves 3 sons, Richard D.Goudreau of Gilman, VT , Daniel M. and his wife, Sandy Goudreau of Biddeford, ME and Thomas R. and his wife Lynnette Goudreau of Yorktown, VA.  He also leaves his daughter-in-law, Susan Goudreau of Lawrence and 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Marilyn Murphy and his brother, Chanel and his sister, Jeanne.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday June 15, 2016 from 10am to 11am at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
