Normand A. Cassista Jr. passed away quietly art the Blaire House in Tewksbury on Sunday, January 7, 2018 after a long battle with Huntington’s.

Normand was born and raised in Nashua, NH. He graduated from Nashua High, New England Aeronautical School and the University of New Hampshire. He taught art at the Marshall Middle School and Locke in Billerica.

His passion was being a photographer which allowed him to meet and work with people to capture memorable moments. He enjoyed golfing, playing chess, collecting stamps, telling corny jokes and attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren.

Normand is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol (St. Pierre) Cassista; his sons Curt, Darin, his wife Jennifer and Todd. Also, his sister Elaine and husband Robert Noel, brother-in-law Robert Brodeur, mother-in-law Dorothy St. Pierre, sister-in-law Valerie and husband Jerard Paquin and grandchildren Trevor, Leigha and Kaitlyn Cassista. Normand also leaves several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is predeceased by his parents Normand and Noella Cassista and his sister Connie Brodeur.

At the request of the family service will be private.
