Myrtle H. Westwell 94, of Haverhill, formerly a long time Methuen resident, died Thursday at Oxford Manor in Haverhill.

Myrtle was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on January 22, 1923 to the late Herbert and Jane (Butterworth) Westwell.

She attended Methuen Schools and was a graduate of the Tewksbury Hospital School of Nursing and was employed as an L.P.N. at various nursing homes until her retirement.

She is predeceased by one brother Samuel, sisters Ruth Carson, Janetta Collins, Lillian Fay, Mary Kimber, Florence Hargraves, Priscilla Hughes, and Evelyn Price. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday December 4, 2017 at 11 AM at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home 80 Broadway Methuen. Family and friends may call from 10:30 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence.
