Mildred H. Passler

Mildred H. Passler, 89 passed away at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on March 24th with family at her side.  She was born April 20, 1925 to the late Robert A. & Helen I. (Teichmann) Passler.  Mildred graduated from Lawrence High School and McIntosh School of Business.  She worked at Lawrence Pumps, Inc., for 44 years until her retirement in 1987. 

A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Lawrence all her life, Mildred attended Sunday School & was a member of the youth group.  She later served as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, was a member of the choir and played piano.  Her church was like a family to her and she enjoyed the services and various church activities immensely. 

Throughout her life, Mildred enjoyed family vacations at Seabrook Beach, NH, trips to Canada, New York, Washington DC, Myrtle Beach and the The Grande Ole Opry.  She liked to take walks, read, do word search puzzles, listen to music, watch Red Sox games and her favorite game show Wheel of Fortune.

Mildred is predeceased by her sister Lillian (Passler) Lutz and brother-in-law Alvin Lutz Jr.  She is survived by her nephew Robert A. Lutz, niece Linda E. (Lutz) Medwid wife of John M. Medwid, great nephews John M. Medwid, Jr & Christopher R. Medwid and family member William J. Callahan all of Methuen.

Burial services are private.  There will be a memorial service at Redeemer Lutheran Church on April 18th, 2015 at 10:00am,163 E Haverhill St, Lawrence, MA 01841. Memorial contributions can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 163 East Haverhill St., Lawrence, MA  01841.
