Louise Buck Stupack went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2017.  Louise leaves two sons, a daughter and four grandchildren; David Stupack his wife Kathy of Methuen, MA, Gregory Stupack, his wife Michelle and their sons Jason and Joshua of Pelham, NH and Robin Halverson, her husband Erik and their son Paul and daughter Christie of West Linn, OR.  Louise was wed to Edward W. Stupack on May 1, 1954 until his death in 2008. 

Louise was born December 2, 1929 to Ralph A. Buck and Fannie (Epstein) Buck of Mansfield, MA.  She graduated from Mansfield High School in 1947 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Simmons College in 1951.  Louise was a class officer and student government representative at Simmons.

Ed and Louise resided in Andover, MA from 1956 - 1985.  During her time in Andover, Louise was a member and past president of the Andona Society, a Board member of the Andover-North Andover YMCA, and active at Christ Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, the first female warden and one of the first female Eucharistic ministers.

During her retirement in Sandwich, MA, Louise served at St. John’s Church as a warden, clerk of the vestry, chair of the 100th Anniversary Celebration and building committee for the indoor columbarium, and on various other committees. She also wrote for the church newsletter as “The Church Mouse”, a well-read and witty weekly column enjoyed by many.  Ed and Louise operated Academy Hill Bed and Breakfast on Academy Lane in Sandwich for several years during their retirement.

Calling hours will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 159 Main Street, Sandwich, MA on Thursday, September 21st from 5:00-8:00 p.m., and a memorial service will take place on Friday, September 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. John’s Memorial Fund in memory of Louise Stupack.
