Dear Lillian, I will miss you!
You were a true fighter and fusty Irish lady; that is what I love about you. We took it One day at a time. I looked forward to seeing you each time I visited. Thank you for watching out for my mom. You too were a guardian angel. I enjoyed your stories of how you were a fussy eater, but cooked a mean spaghetti and meatball dinner. Not that you ate it, you did so for all the family to enjoy. You gave thanks to your mother in-law who taught you the secret Italian sauce/meatball recipe.. This started your family tradition on Wednesday’s everyone enjoyed who came to your house. I am glad you are at peace and you will never be forgotten.

GOD Bless, Steve Riel

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay…
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know,
For some the journey’s quicker,
For some the journey’s slow.
But when the journey finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord.

Lillian was truly one of a kind. Agnes, and family, were very fortunate to be paired with Lillian almost right off the bat at Nevins. Agnes misses her tremendously already. Visiting Nevins will not be the same without this very special person to chit chat with. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you
