Laura B. (Sadzewicz) Kendrick, 89, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully at High Pointe House in Haverhill, on Thursday, December 14, 2017.

The daughter of the late Nickodem and Anna (Kosinska) Sadzewicz, Laura was born in Methuen on July 15, 1928, and was a graduate of Searles High School in Methuen. For over 35 years, she was employed as an office manager for the Cherry and Webb Clothing Store in Lawrence. She was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church in Lawrence, and was a member of the Polish-American Veterans, Julian Stopyra Post Ladies Auxiliary of Lawrence. Along with her late husband John, Laura was an avid Polka dancer, attending many Polka Dance Festivals throughout the Eastern United States. Laura was a lifelong area resident.

Laura was the wife of the late John J. Kendrick, and is survived by several nieces and nephews, including her devoted nephew, Edward A. Miller and his wife Pat of Methuen, who were her caregivers. Laura is also survived by several grand and great grand nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by several siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:30 AM at the Dewhirst-Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
