Kenneth Potter, 56 of Lawrence passed away on Friday June 16, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.  Mr. Potter was born, raised and educated in Lawrence.  He worked at Malden Mills for 15 years.  Ken served with The US Army from 1982 to 1988. He was a member of The Tomahawk Battalion and spent time in Korea and Panama.  He also served 2 years with The National Guard.  He enjoyed small engine repair, watching war movies, playing video games and the occasional bike ride for his favorite roast beef sandwich.  He also enjoyed sitting out on his deck with family and friends.

His family members include his Mom, Shirley Potter of Rochester, NH and his sister, Carol Sattley and her companion, Joseph Gesmundo of Plaistow, NH.  He also leaves his brothers, Robert Potter,Jr of Salem, NH, Ronald Potter and his companion, Joan Finocchiaro of Lawrence, Scott Potter of Lawrence and his Companion, Lori Kimball of Plaistow, NH. and Lewis and his wife, Heather Potter of Rochester, NH and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Robert E. Potter and his longtime companion, Karen Chenelle.
