Joan (Hebert) Lavigne, 78, of Lawrence passed away peacefully on May 30, 2010 at Colonial Heights Nursing Home, Lawrence from a long illness. Born in Keene, NH on June 21, 1931, she was the beloved wife of the late, Clement Lavigne, Native American Sioux who died April 28, 2004. She leaves here children, Ellen R. Arlitt and her fiance, Kenneth Beauchane of Lawrence, Michael F. Lavigne, of Lawrence, Maryann Lavigne of Ohio, Allen Lavigne of PA, Clement Lavigne, Jr of Utah and John Lavigne of NH. She also leaves her grandchildren, Mr & Mrs Christopher Arlitt of Michigan, Paul Arlitt and his fiance , Nikki Fritschy of MA, Jonathan Arlitt of MA and Matthew Arlitt of MA and 12 greatgrandchildren. At Joan's request all services will be private. Arrangements are by The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
