Mr. James ”Jimbo” E. Williams II, the son of Doris D. Williams and the late James E. Williams of Methuen, MA passed away on August 27, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston, MA following a short illness.

Born in Lawrence, MA on June 27, 1957, Jim graduated from Methuen High School and was a member of the Methuen High School band.  Jim also attended Tilton Academy in Tilton, NH.  Jim was a member of the Lawrence Elks and was a recipient of a Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship. He was previously employed as a machine operator for a robotic assembly line at Vicor Corporation in Tewksbury, MA. Jim also worked alongside his parents at the family business, Record Lane, Inc.

Jimbo had a passion for motorcycles and was a dedicated Jerry Garcia fan. In addition to riding his Harley, he enjoyed boating, playing pool at the Keltic Club and spending time with family and friends.  Jim was also a talented saxophone player.

In addition to his mother, Jim leaves behind an uncle, Ronald Davignon, former spouse, Debora Perry, cousins, Sherrie Davignon, Randy Davignon, Michelle Demaras, Michael Davignon, Maria Smith, Sharon Thoren, Brian Williams and Charlene Williams, step-children Hope and William Perry, five step-grandchildren, Robert, Starr, Alexis, Gabrial, and Savananah and extended family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 4 pm to 7 pm at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
