Jacqueline S. (Gagne) Berthold passed away Thursday, May 12th at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

She was the daughter of Francis and Mary (Gagnon) Gagne and was born and raised in Lawrence, MA. She attended Lawrence schools and graduated from St. Anne’s High School. She then went on to attend Oblate Missionary School in Connecticut where she served as a nun for 40 years traveling to different states. Later she became an LPN taking care of the sick and elderly in their homes.

Once retired she enjoyed going to bingo, attending the Senior Center in Salem, NH with friends and spending time with her dog Gretta.

Jackie was predeceased by two brothers Frank and Richard and sister Fern.

She is survived by her husband Joe Berthold, step daughter Sandra Bruneau of Methuen and husband Philip, stepson Michael Berthold and wife Rowena of Nevada, God daughter Linda McCartney and husband Jackie of Salem, NH, along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother Raymond of Conway, SC and sister Rita of Wood River, Illinois.
