Irene P. (LeClair) Ouellette, 92 of Lawrence died Wednesday, January 24 at Mary Immaculate Nursing Center in Lawrence.
Irene was born in North Andover, Massachusetts on October 23, 1925 to the late Leo and Josephine (Rogers) LeClair.
She was employed as a Facility Coordinator at Lawrence General Hospital prior to her retirement. Irene also offered her time as a volunteer at the hospital as well.
The widow of the late Leo Ouellette she is survived by her two daughters, Linda Holmes of Salem, NH and Ann Marie Janowiec and her husband Joseph of Raymond, N.H., her three sons, Ronald Ouellette and his wife Barbara of Simsbury CT., Alan Ouellette and his wife Dawn of Salem, N.H. and David and his wife Maria of Haverhill, MA. Also among her survivors are her sister Lorraine DiBenedetto of Methuen, MA as well as her eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, her four nieces as well as several cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
