Gloria H. Moodie, 86, of Methuen died on Saturday August 22, 2015 at The Berkeley Nursing Center, Lawrence. Mrs. Moodie was born in Mounds, Illinois and was raised and educated in Illinois.  She had lived in Andover for 18 years before moving to Methuen in 1984.  Gloria received her RN degree from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.  She also attended Memphis State College. She worked as a registered nurse at Lawrence General Hospital and also at several local nursing homes.  Gloria was a member of The Free Christian Church of Andover.

The widow of William N. Moodie, her family members include her daughters, Carol M. and her husband, Robert Eskel of Danville, NH, Diane A. Moodie of Methuen and Elise P. Moodie of Methuen.  She also leaves 2 grandchildren, Carrie Ruddy and her husband, Ryan and Sara Greenlay and her husband, Dana as well as 3 great grandchildren, Craig, Jessica and Evan and several nieces and nephews. Gloria was pre-deceased by her sister, Roberta B. and her husband, Bernard LaRose.

There are no calling hours.  Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday August 31, 2015 at 3:00 PM at The Charles F.
