Frank Goulet, 71, died peacefully at his home in Methuen surrounded by his family. He was born in Lawrence on December 4th, 1944, the son of Solomon and O'dianna Goulet.

He was the owner and operator of Royal Powder Coating of Lawrence, MA. After retirement, he continued working at JMD and Finish Unlimited, Inc. Frank was a member of the Order of the Redmen, and he attended the Our Lady of Good Counsel parish in Lawrence where he was an usher for many years. He was a beloved fan of the Boston Red Sox and Bruins.

He was a devoted family man to his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Betty Goulet (Ball), his 5 children Joseph and his wife Donna Goulet of Salem, NH, Richard Goulet of Methuen, Thomas and his wife Debby Goulet of North Andover, Lisa Privitera of Methuen, and Jorge and his wife Wanda Espinoza of Lawrence, his brother Solomon and his wife Mildred of Sunset Beach, NC, his sisters Dolores Morarity of Salem, NH, Trudy Woomer and her husband Marty of Greenwood, DE, and Marie Dumont of Derry, NH, his 16 grandchildren Ashley, Samantha, Thomas, Zackary, Kayla, Kyle, Holly, Joseph, Hannah, T.J., Natasha, Faith, Kelsey, Guogui, Jayleen, and Lissette, his 5 great-grandchildren Jayden, Aaliah, Michael, Katelyn, and Jonathan, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Frank is predeceased by his brothers Reginald Goulet and Roger Goulet, and his mother-in-law Theresa Ball.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 11th, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00pm at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 12th at 10:00am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Augustine Chapel, 128 Ames Street, Lawrence, MA 01841, with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover.
