F. Charles ”Chuck” Cartier, of North Andover-Lawrence and a former resident of Sutton Hill Nursing Center, North Andover died on Monday July 27, 2015 at Lawrence General Hospital. Chuck was born, raised and educated in Lawrence.  He was a graduate of Lawrence General Hospital School of Radiology and Merrimack College with a degree in human resources and business management. He was a retired tax examiner from The Internal Revenue Service , Andover.  And he served with The US Air Force as a medic during The Vietnam War.

Chuck was pre-deceased by his companion, Elaine B. Orefice and his parents, William A. and Mae V. (DeRoche) Cartier and his niece, Jennifer Cartier.  He leaves his caregiver and best friend, Toni Orefice of Methuen and his sisters, Maureen Cartier Tisbert of Haverhill and Carol Farrell of Andover as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday August 6, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Methuen. Funeral services and burial will be private.
