Born April 13, 1924 to Marie and Harold Whittenberger, Eileen Marie Payne passed at the age of 93 on January 17, 2018. Born in Wyoming, she moved to Lynn, MA at the age of 17, but never lost her love of the west. Eileen worked at General Electric in Lynn, MA from 1943-1954. She subsequently started her own flower business with her husband, Al. An enthusiastic reader, Eileen loved to take long walks, especially with her beloved dogs. She delighted in boating with her husband, children and friends at her home on Lake Winnipesaukee. An avid traveler, Eileen explored the globe and was conveniently in the Bahamas during the Blizzard of ’78.

Eileen was predeceased by her adoring husband of 52 years, Al, in 2005 and her devoted brother, Harold, in 2013. She is lovingly survived by her three children: Michael, Michele and her husband John O’Donnell of Andover, Bruce and his wife Susan Payne of Billerica, and her three grandchildren Zachary, Caroline and Matthew.
