Donna C. (Koczat) Gallagher of Methuen died Friday, August 18th at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA.

Donna was born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late John Koczat and Annette Koczat Kenyon. A graduate of Tenney High School, she was a longtime resident of Methuen who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to care for children; she also enjoyed playing Bingo and spending weekends at her social club, Reliefs Inn. She lived her life selflessly, putting others above herself.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years William J Gallagher, and their 3 children Sean Gallagher & his wife Brenda, Kelly Gallagher & her fiancé Aaron Hastings, Stacy Quigley & her husband John, and her 9 grandchildren: Shannon, Ryen, Molly, Kacey, Rylie, Avery, Jonathan, Gabriel, and Jacob. She is also survived by her sister Linda Koczat & her partner Russel Blake, and her brother John Koczat.

She will be greatly missed by her friends and family who adored her.

Calling hours will take place Wednesday, August 23rd from 3:00- 7:00 PM at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 24th at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel/St. Theresa Church in Methuen. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
