Daniel J. Sullivan died January 8, 2018 at his residence.

Daniel was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to the late John and Mary (Daly) Sullivan.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Daniel was employed by the city of Boston in the Parks Department prior to his retirement.

Daniel was a graduate of Lawrence High School.  While he worked for the Parks Dept in Boston, he made the decision to get the college degree he always wanted, first earning his associates in business from Bunker Hill Community College and in 1996 he graduated Cum Laude from University of Massachusetts Boston with his Bachelor of Science. 

He is survived by his niece Kimberly Baird of North Andover as well as his great nieces, Kaitlin and Kourtney Baird, and many other friends and relatives. He was also the brother of the late John Sullivan and Shannon Sullivan. 

A service with military honors will be held on Friday January 19th at 1 PM at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA. 

Family and friends may call prior to the service on Friday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA.

In lieu of flowers please donate to one of the  charities that were close to Daniel's heart  were Wounded Warriors,  St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or Christian Children's fund.
