Charles “Chuck” T. Clarke, age 63, passed on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Lawrence General Hospital.

Chuck was born on February 10, 1954. He graduated in 1973 from the Greater Lawrence Vocational High School, trained in Auto Body. Even he began his career as a “body man” painting all types of cars, trucks and motorcycles, he ended his work career as a school bus driver. He was most proud of his first ten years as a bus driver in that he had not taken even one day off. He loved driving a school bus and the children he saw daily, he knew all of their names.

Chuck had a quick wit and a big smile, making friends of all ages and from all walks of life. His greatest love though was owning and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.

He is survived by his parents, C. Thomas and Geraldine F. (Haynes) Clarke; his sisters, Laura L. and Richard Francis of Methuen, MA and Debra A. and Dominic Rocca of Keene, NH; his sister-in-law Jeanne Clarke and niece Desiree King of Lawrence, MA; his nephew Christian D. Stone, his fiancé Elie Schwartz and great nephew Gabriel Stone of Los Angeles, CA. Chuck was predeceased in death by his brother Douglas Clarke in September of 2005.

The family wishes to say a special thank you to his Personal Care Aides, Jane and Loretta for the care and kindness they provided him these last few months.
