Bernard Bush Obituary

Bernard (Bernie) M. Bush, 69, of Kingston New Hampshire, died Saturday February 24, 2018 at his residence with his children by his side after a very courageous battle with cancer.

Bernard was born in Lawrence Massachusetts on June 21, 1948 to the late Stanley and Anna (Semons) Bush. His early life was of a close family bond and happy times spent with his parents, siblings and aunts and uncles.  He was a graduate of Lawrence High School where he enjoyed playing football and developed lifelong friendships with those best known as “The Old Gang”.  He married his wife Gale (LaRose), on October 10, 1972.

He had a lifelong career in the packaging fabrication industry and prior to his retirement, he was employed as a production manager at Sleep Innovations in Newburyport.  Bernard had a love for life, family, friends and of course, the beach where one could always find him on a summer day.  He enjoyed cooking, golfing, and was a member of the Rocky Club.

Bernard is now reunited with the love of his life, his wife, the late Gale (LaRose) Bush, who preceded him in death.  A loving father, he is survived by his children and their families: Patricia and David Szweda of Salem NH and their children, Samantha and her husband Richard, Julianna and Joshua;  Michael and Michelle Bush of Georgetown MA and their children Connor and Caroline;. Jonathan and Marla Bush of Kingston NH and their children Amber and Tyler. He is also survived by his brother Gregory Bush and his wife Denise of Hampton NH and his sister Karen (Bush) Ippolito and her husband Frank of Stamford CT. as well as several nieces and nephews.
