Bernadette A Shea of Methuen, passed away Wednesday July 12, 2017 at the Holy Family Hospital at the age of 90. Born and raised in Lawrence, she was the daughter of Thomas E. and Annie (Connelly) Burke. Bernadette retired from Western Electric AT&T after many years where she was known by her friends as the “Pie Lady." She was an excellent cook and baker and pies were her specialty. It was always a delicious treat for family and friends to get Ma's pies for the holidays. Bernadette was the widow of her sweetheart, William A Shea. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy, sons, William Jr, Thomas and his wife, Leslie, Michael and his wife, Mary. Grandchildren, Meredith, Patrick, Katharine, Kellen, and Jenna. She was predeceased by her daughter, Denise and grandson, Michael D.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday July 18, 2017 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.  Graveside services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am on Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
