Barbara R. (Albertson) Nicolosi, 90 passed away peacefully on June 5th at the Nevins Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Methuen, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael S. Nicolosi with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Gloucester, MA  in 1927, she was the daughter of Oliver Albertson and Alberta (Thibeault) Albertson. She attended Gloucester schools. After residing in Gloucester, she moved to Andover in 1961 and later moved to North Andover. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Barbara lived for her family and most of all enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her immense love of animals turned into years of showing, caring for and breeding her Scottish terriers. She was a member of the Scottish Terrier Club of NE for over 45 years. She leaves her sons and their wives, Dann and Georgette of North Andover and Michael Jr. and Marie of East Hampstead, grandchildren Guy Nicolosi Jr., of Hampton, NH, James (Jay) Nicolosi of North Andover, Kenneth Pickard of New York City, Dann Nicolosi, Jr. and Domenic Nicolosi of North Andover and Bianca Nicolosi of Portsmouth, NH. She leaves her great grandchildren, Guy Nicolosi III, Michael Nicolosi, and Olivia Nicolosi of Hampton, NH and Scarlett Nicolosi of North Andover. Barbara was predeceased by her son Guy Nicolosi.

 There are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to graveside services on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Noon at Beechbrook Cemetery, Essex Ave, Gloucester, MA.
