Arthur St. Louis, 85, of Methuen and Southport, ME died on January 13, 2017 of complications from a stroke. He was born at home in South Lawrence on September 26, 1931 to David E. & Lena (Boucher) St. Louis.

Arthur attended Lawrence Public Schools and served in the U.S. Army Airborne 187th Regimental Combat Team in Japan & Korea. He was employed with Champion International Paper Co. of Lawrence, Holihan Bros. Brewery of Lawrence, and retired from Anheuser-Busch of Merrimack, NH.

Arthur was a member of the Lawrence United Lodge of Masons, the John Hancock Lodge of Methuen, the Bektash Shrine Temple of Concord NH, and a former member of the Bektash Clown Unit.

He is survived by his spouse Carol Scholz St. Louis, his brothers David of Lawrence, Wilfred of Sun City, AZ and Walter of AZ, his caring nieces & nephews and his special love great-niece Sophia Rose Varmette.

Per Arthurs request there will be no calling hours. Following cremation, disposition of ashes will occur at his home in Southport, ME at the convenience of his family.
